Vantaggi

Cosa rende possibile MatchBox.

  • 01Automated lab-to-standard validation
Every incoming lab dip is colorimetrically validated against the stored spectral standard. dE values under multiple illuminants are calculated, documented and linked to the sample, instead of being tracked manually in spreadsheets.
  • 02Configurable tolerances per material / season
Tolerances can be differentiated by material, color family, season or supplier. A heavy wool knit gets different limits than a lightweight blouse, and the rules apply equally to everyone involved.
  • 03Approve or reject with justification
Approvals and rejections are recorded with justification, owner and timestamp. This creates a complete audit trail that holds up for claims, compliance questions and internal reviews.
  • 04Reduces sampling loops by up to 60%
Because sub-standards are checked digitally against the master and risks surface earlier, the number of physical lab-dip loops drops. Actual reductions depend on the setup, typical projects save a significant share of loops.
  • 05Color-managed display: color-accurate rendering on calibrated monitors
Display inside DMIx happens on color-managed, calibrated monitors with ICC profiles and proper color management. What you decide on screen matches the spectral truth of the sample, not the random calibration of an arbitrary laptop.

01Brand

Brand defines target color

The brand sets the binding color standard as the single starting point for every partner in the supply chain.

One truth

The Standard is the Standard is the Standard.

Once a brand approves a spectral standard, it is the single reference used for lab dip, bulk production, and every reorder, across every supplier and every location. No re-measurement, no re-interpretation, no drift between sites.

Today, reality in the supply chain

Color development was never built to scale.

Classic lab-dip development runs on physical standards, shipping between countries, emails, spreadsheets and private side conversations. With thousands of parallel jobs, every brand loses oversight.

Typical today
  • ·Physical color standards and dyed samples
  • ·Shipping between brand, supplier and dyehouse
  • ·Email threads and spreadsheets
  • ·Manual, subjective evaluation
  • ·Different tools on every side
Consequence
  • ·Long approval cycles, no clear status
  • ·Knowledge in individual inboxes, not in the system
  • ·Supplier performance hard to measure
  • ·High logistics and sampling costs
  • ·No transparency across the supply chain

If everyone is meant to see the same color, they need the same data basis.

Color is tricky. Color is a technical process of material, chemistry, light and tolerance.

In industrial processes, a color cannot simply be copied. Material, dyehouse, chemistry, location, lighting and batch variation shape every result. Without a digital system you get diverging interpretations, missing comparability and long review loops.

Single point of truth

Spectral color data as the shared foundation.

MatchBox works with spectral measurements instead of color names, codes or photos. Suppliers receive a physical color definition that holds independently of device and light source. MatchBox becomes the single point of truth for standards, measurements, tolerances, decisions and approvals.

  • 01Objective color communication
  • 02Reproducible target values
  • 03Fewer interpretation errors
  • 04Comparability across suppliers
  • 05Global consistency
Tolerances, pass / fail

Configurable per material, season and supplier.

Brands define what deviations are acceptable. MatchBox evaluates every measurement automatically and returns a clear pass or fail, with a complete audit trail.

Directional tolerances

When identical is not possible, harmony has to be.

Across different materials, countries and dyeing technologies, a brand color is rarely identical. Directional tolerances control not just the magnitude of the deviation but also its visual direction, so collections stay harmonious.

01

Multi-material

One brand color across knit, woven and print.

02

Multi-supplier

Different dyehouses, one consistent result.

03

Multi-region

Asia, Europe, Americas working from the same standard.

04

Retail and e-commerce

Harmonious appearance in store and on screen.

Central communication

Discussion, measurements and decision in one place.

Without MatchBox
  • Private email threads
  • Knowledge silos per person
  • Lost decisions
  • Unclear approval status
  • Escalation hard to do
With MatchBox
  • Job-based discussion at the lab dip
  • Alerts and notifications
  • Decision tracking with owner
  • Complete communication history
  • Role-based visibility for every stakeholder
Expert to expert

Direct line between brand color team, supplier and dyehouse.

In classic setups a brand comment travels via Tier 1 to the dyehouse, and "more red" can mean anything on the way. MatchBox connects discussion, measurement and colorimetric evaluation at the job itself. Intermediaries stay informed without technical detail being lost in translation.

Real dyehouse workflows

Built for how dyehouses actually work.

01

Familiar methods

MatchBox mirrors the colorimetric and industrial processes suppliers already use.

02

Lower training effort

Familiar measurement devices, familiar data formats, no new vocabulary.

03

Fast international rollout

Fewer tool breaks between brand and supplier, faster adoption across regions.

Measurable

Color development as a KPI.

MatchBox makes the process measurable. Brands see how long jobs take, how suppliers respond, where bottlenecks appear, and can base sourcing strategy and supplier evaluation on real data.

  • 01Job duration and lead time
  • 02Status and bottlenecks in real time
  • 03Supplier response times
  • 04Pass / fail rate per supplier
  • 05Anomalies by region and material
  • 06Trend across seasons
Scalable job management

Thousands of parallel jobs stay manageable.

Freely configurable filters, tags, status fields and workflows adapt to your organization, not the other way around.

Connections

MatchBox is never isolated.

Across every material

Color development for knit, woven, print, leather, denim and more, in one system.

Business impact

Measurable value across the supply chain.

01

Faster development

  • ·Shorter approval cycles
  • ·Fewer rework loops
  • ·Faster time to market
02

Lower operating cost

  • ·Less manual tracking
  • ·Less dependency on individuals
  • ·Knowledge lives in the system
03
